Our first Rough Collie was Leah, a Tri we got as a puppy from Bill and Sandra Murphy. As Leah (out of Camanna the Chairman and Lynaire Music Girl) developed it was obvious that she had “class” and we did well from the very outset in the show ring. The photo was taken the day she won Best of Breed at Beverley Open Show, beating a substantial entry that day. Leah always showed well outdoors but indoors she often went on strike!

Once we were bitten by the show bug we wanted to have a sable too. Molly came from Sue and Dave Randall and had the best temperament you could imagine. Molly loved showing, indoors, outdoors, shiny sports halls, anywhere. Molly was also a great role model for our next addition, Pippa, another Tri (out of CH Ladnar Kingfisher JW and Ladnar Maid in Time). Pippa is so intelligent and has qualified for Crufts quite a few times including in veteran.

In 2008 we had a litter with Leah and kept one tri puppy Lucy. We showed Lucy (Didek Sparkling Diamond) up until she was 3 years old achieving a Best of Breed along the way. Lucy is now living happily in Ilkeston.

In 2019 we got our first Blue Merle puppy from Doreen Pointon. Mala (Aldreen Illusion in Blue for Didek) has a terrific temperament and has become our most successful show dog so far. Mala qualified for her Stud Book Number in 2022 and has now become the proud mum of five beautiful puppies.

Our latest addition, our first Blue Merle, who took to ring craft really well and has a really calm temperament. Many thanks to her breeder Doreen Pointon.

We have had some lovely wins with Mala so far - January 2020 - she has achieved 4 Best Puppy in Breeds. This photo was taken at Ashbourne and we also got Best Puppy (1st in Junior) at Coventry Ladies Kennel Assoc.

Our beautiful blue girl Mala has done really well on the Champ show circuit, qualified for her Stud Book Number in 2022. After a visit to Scotland to see her boyfriend Theon (Lillyway Lattimer at Nithview) she is the proud and caring mum of five lovely puppies.
