Since my childhood I wanted a Rough Collie, because I was impressed by the elegance and aristocratic appearance of the breed. In addition to keeping that type what I like, I have also been working on the CEA elimination with DNA testing since 2015. Good health and longevity are the biggest responsibilities of breeders. It is a huge challenge to bring this together with the aim of preserving the lines of the old famous breeders for posterity. This work requires lots of sacrifice, money and energy. Hard, really...one step forward and one step back sometimes...but in my opinion, we have to use the opportunity provided by modern science. Many people thought I was crazy when I had to do "outcross" matings for this, but I feel like I'm on the right track, so I'm proud to present the new generation of my collies. I believe in power of unity, my ears are always open for good ideas, collaboration with other breeders, so do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. When I was 14 years old, and started the middle school my dream came true, I’ve got a tricolor puppy bitch, namely Alsóuti Jenny from my parents. Sandy was born from Dunsinane - Rokeby lines, mixed with some Rovelburgi and Kőakói collies, these two kennels were dominant in the nineties in Hungary. Sandy had 3 litters, the first 2 by Silver Dream dogs, and the 3rd by a blue son of Ch. Amalie Best Bitter, namely Blueroyce Heroic Hamlet. Sandy’s last litter launched us on the road to success. Our very first homebreed champion was born there, Ch. Prince of Sunlight Black Charm Ciwtiwa.
I wanted to go on this type, I wanted to strengthen the beautiful expression, excellent silhouette, therefore Kyra was mated with another son of Best Bitter, Ch Double Scotch Black Enchanter. Only two babies were born in the litter, and I kept the bitch, she was Ch. Prince of Sunlight Black Hurrican.
Honey was the most important bitch in my breeding, she had 4 litters, and produced 4 champions and many winners. We lost her in 2015, when she was 16,5 yrs old... We kept Honey’s halfsister also, namely Ch Prince of Sunlight Love at First Sight, who became our 3rd homebreed champion, sired Ch. Rosegarden Jumpin Jazzy, who was a beautiful son of Ch Riding’s Deep in My Heart...
During the last 24 years I got a lot of new friends, learned a lot about life, people and of course about the dogs... ... pictures will tell more, how did we continue... Thank you everyone!
