Special Award Classes - Open Show

Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge at this show. 
  I will remember the Scottish hospitality for many years to come.  I would also like to thank all exhibitors for their entries, as it is always a privilege to go over another exhibitor’s dog. 
The entry of 31 dogs really made my trip from Malta really worthwhile.  

Class A: Junior Special Award Class 6 (1)

1. Ryrcraft's Kynan SilverShadow At Rydellsky - 7 mths promising b/m dog. A balanced head with sweet eye giving the desired expression. Good bone structure and tail of sufficient length. 
Pleasing temperament and moved happily for a youngster.

2. Fox's Alanita Razzle Jazzle - 7 mths s/w dog. Another promising dog who is nicely put together, with clean head and ears and well arched neck, good shape and outline. Moved well.

4. McCarte's. Glory Way Cindirella For Monsolana At Roughrigg

Class B: Graduate Special Award Class 10 (4)

1. Melvin & Jopson's Starlenga Streets Ahead At Nithview - 1yr 5mths old s/w dog. A very balanced head with neat ears on top and a well rounded muzzle. Excellent expression. 
Fair length of neck and good height to length ratio. Muscular front with well bent stifle. Glamorous coat and well presented. Good movement. 

2. Rycraft's Born To Be Pinot Noir At Rydellsky - 2yrs 6mths s/w dog. Correct wedge shaped head, with fairly length of neck and good spring of rib. Nicely constructed with correct length and tail carriage. Moved positively.

Class C: Open Special Award Class 15 (5)

1. Welsh's Ladnar Perfect Time At Thistlewing - 4yr old b/m dog. Nicely marked.  Nice head pattern with neat ears which he used well, alert to his owner.
  Good depth of chest, well arched neck on correct lay of shoulders, strong hocks. I liked the length of back. Well presented. Moved with drive.

2. Melvin & Jopson's Starlenga Street Fighter at Nithview - 3yrs 1mth s/w dog

Balanced skull and foreface. Lovely dark eyes, nicely tipped ears with a well rounded muzzle resulting in a pleasing expression. 
Good turn of stifle and angulations. Well coated with plenty of undercoat.. Nicely groomed and presented. Moved well.
