Rough Collies

First, my thanks to the committee for the invitation to judge, the ring steward for his assistance and the exhibitors for entering.
In general I had some very nice dogs to go over. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of cow hocks and movement was mostly good. A little more use of a tooth scraper would have benefited some.

Class 123 Puppy 2 (1)
1st & BP Bartram’s. Ambartr King of the Ring. A good sized 7 month old sable & white dog. Nice head, correct ears, bite, well placed eyes and stop. Nice length of neck well covered with a full white ruff, going into a correct  top line with slight rise over the loins. Good conformation front and rear, moved well.

Class 124 Special Yearling 1
1st Gallagher’s. Gemheid Rebekah. A good sized 1 ½ yr old sable bitch. An all round good quality bitch, with a correct head, good top line. Well conformed front and rear, moved well.

Class 125 Post Graduate 6 (2)
1st Dodsworth & Carr’s. Libanel Magical Martinique An average sized 3 yr old sable bitch. Good head with a sweet expression, correct ear carriage and eyes, well placed stop and correct bite. Nice top line with a rise over the loins and good length of tail. Nicely conformed and moved well.
2nd Whittaker’s Misty Blue Moon of Siluto
3rd Scott’s Aniesh Touch of Black

Class 126 Open 9 (2)
1st  & BOB. Mellish’s Demelewis Catchmydrift. A good sized 6 yr old Blue Merle Dog who fits the standard in every respect. Well balanced head with correct stop, well placed and shaped eyes, good ears, correct bite, good reach of neck leading to a nice top line. Good conformation and moved with ease, well groomed coat and polished teeth.
