ROUGH COLLIES
It was an honour to be asked to judge this open show and can only thank the committee for my invitation. Can I also thank the club for looking after me on the day and my thanks also go to my very able ring stewards.
Believe this to be a new venue for club and I thought it was excellent, with good catering and plenty of parking and really good size of ring. I was taken aback with the quality of my entry and didn’t believe that some top winning kennels travelled to put their dogs under me for my opinion.
JUNIOR DOG
1 BARRENCLOUGH DIAMOND DAYS - In excellent coat, nice size of dog and ears on top, at that in between stage of puppy /mature dog
2 RASHEL ONE MOMENT IN TIME - This tri boy is a bit behind class winner on maturity, moved well
GRADUATE DOG
1 MERTRISA WILD FIRE - Heavy coated Sable, well off for bone and masculine head
2 LYNMEAD AMALIE BRING ME BACK - Shaded sable with lovely length of back and overall confirmation

1 BENTLEY BLUE AT MONSOLANA - Blue Upstanding Boy nice broken colour, well off for size, good alert ear carriage and lovely long tail
2 LYNMEAD AMALIE LET ME GO - 3year old sable dog, prefer sweeter eye, looked small against larger class winner
OPEN DOG
1 GLENBOWDENE SHADES OF GOLD - Sable dog well of for size, not in full coat today. Nice stop and ear carriage and lovely length of head, when he gets himself together you can see why he has been pulled out in many previous shows Although lacking any flashy white collar/markings my eye kept going back to him. BEST DOG.
2 NIKAL ITS GUD TO BE BLACK - Tri Boy of good length of back but I feel he could do with bit more length of leg to give him more balance. Shorter head type than class winner, moved well but showed lack of interest while standing.
MINOR PUPPY BITCH
1 GILLYFLOWER DELLA BUCA DELLE FATE - Very promising sable puppy bitch with lovely reach of neck and length of back. Of good size and balance, very eye catching and showed well and was full of character. BEST PUPPY BITCH
2 RIVERSIDE SONG MOONLIGHT SONATA FOR MERTRISA - Tri bitch puppy in excellent coat does not have the neck of class winner. Would prefer a sweeter eye.

1 JEMSPARK MAID IN SECRET - Sable Bitch nice size and lovely reach of neck, well balanced, excellent ear carriage and very attentive to handler.
2 RIVERSIDE SONG NATHALIE FOR MERTRISA - Very Sweet Eye heavier ear carriage than class winner. Good neck when she wanted to show it. Lovely length and set of tail, lovely overall pup.

1 BARRENCLOUGH TOUCH OF THYME - Sable bitch with full white collar good ear carriage, nice length of back.

1 JASHIKA SHINE LIKE A DIAMOND - Shaded sable of lovely shape and construction, really nice reach of neck, good ear carriage and moved freely around ring, could have kept going all day

1 SAMHAVEN SUMMER RHAPSODY FOR GLENBOWDENE - Golden Sable, my type of bitch, very flashy with lovely reach of neck, good length of leg, overall a lovely picture, not overly happy with floor, loved her when I saw her as a pup and still do. RES BEST BITCH

1 COLLINGVALE CRÈME ANGLAISE - Shaded sable bitch, lovely ear carriage with top third tipped, very showy girl who doesn’t take her eyes of handler, not overly flashy but did not deter from overall picture, stood on loose lead and demanded the class. BEST BITCH AND BOB
2 GUILTY SECRET WITH BRILYN - Light Golden Sable with lovely refined head, showed very well, lovely girl overall nothing to find fault with.
OPEN BITCH
1 RAHLISSA SNOW MAIDEN FOR TREMARO - Golden sable who won class with her lovely length of back and overall size and balance. Lovely picture when she got it all together. BEST VETERAN
2 COLLINGVALE CRÈME CARAMEL - Mother to my BOB winner and a lot of similar qualities, shaded sable with excellent ear carriage, shorter all over than class winner but lovely bitch
