Northumberland & Durham Champ Show

Many thanks for inviting me to judge at your Champ. Show.   Very friendly well run show & thanks to the committee for all their hard work & to my 2 stewards.  I found a few with dirty teeth, & a couple that needed a good grooming, & a few cow hocks, but very pleased to have a lot of lovely sound dogs too !

Minor Puppy Dog (1)
1st Johnston’s Fridens Cavendish .  Blue merle of good shape, adequate bone, good feet. Well filled muzzle & nice eye, has good coat that still need to clear in colour, well groomed & showed well.


Puppy Dog (1)
1st BPD  McEntee’s  Gerian Sunconnection  S/w  excellent conformation,  well balanced, adequate bone, well placed dark eye, flat skull, lovely filled muzzle, correct stop & ear carriage giving soft expression, moved well  both coming & going, pleased he went BPIS.


Junior Dog (4)
1st Scott’s Magical Moon of Lowlands Green Valley for Chantique (impFr) s/w,  good length to height ratio, well balanced, good head proportions with correct stop & lovely eye. Moved out well coming & going.
2nd  Lockyer’s Gataj Beau of surprises    Tri in excellent condition, well laid back shoulders into nice length of body,  correct ear carriage , good underjaw, well off for bone, moved out well on  good feet.
3rd Boyles’s Barrenclough’s Diamond Days.


Yearling Dog ( 4)  
1st Brown’s Mertrisa Wild Fire  well coated  Quality  S/W in lovely condition has excellent shape.  good bone & feet. Well filled in muzzle, lovely eye & stop moved  back & out soundly.
2nd Johnston’s  Seadreamers One & Only.  S/W  has excellent shape,  moved out well on good legs & feet, just preferred head of 1.
3rd Welsh’s Karafaye Scotch Blend at Thistlewing.

Maiden Dog  (1) 
1st Johnston’s Fridens Cavendish.

Novice Dog    (3) 
1st Barrenclough’s Diamond Days   S/W overall balance is ok & moved adequately but needs to be  much better presented.
2nd Dipdown Dawn Brigade    S/W of lovely  rich colour &  good shape , moved ok    

Graduate Dog  (3) 
1st  Lynmack Tommy Hilfiger by Iledya JW  S/W of good shape height to length ratio, almond  shaped  dark eye,  good stop, used ears well 2nd Caraiadhaf Crazy Dream   s/w of good shape & balance, very happy on the move today.
3rd Barrenclough Diamond Days

Post Graduate Dog (5)  
1st Starlyn Diamond R Forever    Quality blue merle, excellent shape & conformation, has good head & used ears when required, moved out well coming & going.
2nd Erjon Early Edition   Rich S/W  excellent conformation, well placed eye & ears,  showed & moved well.
3rd Alanita Razzle Jazzel

Mid Limit Dog (6) 
1st & RCC    Rubacuori Della Buca Della Fate   loved his shape, has well laid back shoulders, is of  good  height to   length  ratio, &  good angulation. Head handles well has  flat skull,  lovely eye & filled muzzle to give a soft expression, used his ears when req.  A sound dog he moves well coming & going but think owner should go at a slightly faster pace perhaps.
2nd Slater’s Danbrebek Double o seven at Stanlox JW shaded sable, well presented, good shape. Balanced head
3rd Ashe’s  Forrestwalk Rocket  Man

Limit Dog   (5) 
1st Fox' Alanita Whats it All About   S/W  of super rich colour, lovely shape with substance & bone,   good head,  with correct eye & stop, well filled muzzle.  A  bit full of himself on the move! 
2nd Brooker’s Iam fantastic Du Bois Des Amazones for Corisian (imp Fr) S/W has good eye & stop giving very sweet expression & uses his ears, well balanced in body.
3rdTelford’s  Glenbowdene Shades of Gold JW

Open Dog (14)  .  lovely class!  
1st  CC  BIS   Sibbalds Telforth Tony. S/W. To be ‘   ‘hypercritical’  would like just a shade more of him-but  just  couldn’t resist this boy! On going over him found  him very sound ,he had excellent lay of shoulder  & front & rear angulation, short powerful hocks, good bone & feet, He has a lovely head, correct stop, soft eye, smooth rounded muzzle  & ears on top - to give our desired collie expression, he moved out well coming & going,  pleased to award him his 5th CC & BIS with approval from the bitch judge.
2nd Walkers Starlenga  Dizzy Rascal. S/W.  Another lovely boy, remember giving him best puppy in Scotland. Has excellent body shape & angulation, has good stop & eye, well  filled muzzle, moved out  well, but unfortunately will not happily  show off his many virtues, just did enough to get 2nd in a class of Quality dogs
3rd Cooney’s   Ch. Jopium Stole my Heart at Lingwell.
