29.2.20
My thanks to the Society for the invitation, my two efficient stewards and the exhibitors for their support.
COLLIE - ROUGH: My thanks to the exhibitors, this was my second time judging your lovely breed, movement overall was good, I found a few eyes somewhat on the small side, which your standard makes a point of their not being.
Post Graduate Dog/Bitch (6)
1 Radford-House’s Ladnar Stake Out At Fivejays. 2 yr old tri male, this boy has a lovely lean head, with a sweet, dark eye and correct ear carriage. Medium neck into moderate angulation, balanced fore and aft to give a typical outline. Really nice shaped feet. Coat was of good texture and well presented with excellent colour. He was sound on the move, although I would like to have seen him carry himself slightly better, but he did enough to convince me he should be my BOB.
2 Wright’s Aquilita Rosetta. 4 yr old sable bitch who won her place on her condition and showmanship over my 3rd place, Whitaker’s Siluto Mysterious Girl. Both nice bitches with pretty head and expression, put together nicely giving correct shape, good coats, and moved soundly, just felt third was carrying a touch more weight than ideal.
Open Dog/Bitch
(5, 1) 1 Aniesh Forever Blue With Whatacoo. 6 yr old Blue merle bitch, won this class on her overall make and shape, pretty head with correct eye shape, I would’ve liked stronger pasterns and tighter feet, good coat texture, she gave a really good account of herself on the move which earned her RBOB.
2 Siluto Over The Blue Moon. 2 yr old blue merle bitch, appeared somewhat out of coat on the day but has a good typical shape, I would like her eye a touch more generous, tidy in front, moved soundly.
3 Pelido David Weir. 7 yr old sable male, really liked his eye and expression, felt his overall shape didn’t quite fit the standard as well as the two girls ahead of him.
