My sincere thank you to Leeds for the invite and to the exhibitors for a splendid entry. I appreciated having quality and was very pleased with my final choices. I was looking for dogs which I considered of great beauty on the lines of strength and fitness. Active dogs but standing with impressive beauty and passive dignity, this I found in my main winners.
MPD (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: GALLAGHER’S Gemheid Trouble-Shooter
6.5 months and very much a baby full of potential. Beautiful balanced head with correct length of neck, nice laid-back shoulders, correct back and good bone and substance, moved with east and is certainly one to watch for the future. BP
2nd: MILLIGAN/MARLEY’S Alfsden He Lives in You
Another nice puppy of similar age lovely colour with enough bone and substance but just a tad shorter than 1.

1st: HANSON’S Jards Ring Presence
9-month-old dog, lovely head, dark eye. Strong neck falling into good shoulder placement. Very balanced with good top line and moved with ease around the ring.
2nd: MILLIGAN/MARLEY’S Alfsden Endless Night
6-month-old dog, lovely coat, nice head plenty of bone for age but lost this class to 1 on movement.

1st: HARVEY/HARVEY’S Afterglow Invocation
1 year old upstanding dog. Beautiful head with good strong underjaw, dark eye obliquely set, well arched neck into good shoulders, lovely length of tail, nice strong bone and moved around the ring with presence and ease. Exceptionally mature for his age and was considered strongly for the CC today Res CC
2nd: BEARDSWORTH/BEARDSWORTH’S Maysinder Diamante Grezzo
A completely different type to 1st but still a nice dog, head had a deeper stop, correct structure with plenty of substance and bone, moved ok

1st: LESLIE’S Eden of Phenomenon at Intermittent Lake (Imp Slov)
Nearly 3 years old, upstanding dog with a well-balanced head, strong underjaw, dark almond shaped eye, plenty of bone and heart room, moved with drive around the ring.
2nd: PHILLIPS’ Essanjay Against All Odds
22-month-old dog with head of right proportions, much the same applies as 1st just lost out on movement.
3rd: LEESE’S, Mrs J Essanjay Fields of Gold

1st: BENTON/SMITH’S Brooklynson El Dorado
Lovely sable dog. Everything I was looking for, elegant regal looking with a noble expression, strong muscular neck on a good lay of shoulder, nice length in back with a tail held low to hock, stood out with dignity, and moved out keeping his level top line. Pleased to award him the CC today
2nd: JONES’ Brooklynson Black Diamond with Dancol
Another nice Dog presented in lovely condition. Balanced head, nice dark eye set correctly, good lay of shoulder strong arched neck was unfortunate to meet the no 1 today.
3rd: RANDALL’S Ladnar Mustriharder

Blue dog with plenty of bone and substance, good reach of neck and moved with purpose around the ring.
2nd: CRONK’S Int Ch Skabona the Gambler at Chelborn (Swed Imp)
Nice tri dog with plenty of bone and substance, nice head, and expression, groomed to perfection.
3rd: GEDDES/GEDDES’ Ingledene Well Sooted

1st: THORNE’S Triforce Dragon Heart Sh.CM
8-year-old with a beautiful head. Dark almond eye correctly placed, Strong underjaw, well Arched muscular neck moved effortlessly around the ring.
2nd: WILLIAMS’ Mr & Mrs S Essanjay Dark Moon Rising
Tri dog much the same attributes as 1st just preferred expression on winner.
3rd: HAINIE’S Miss A Wicani Classic Renaissance

2-year-old tri bitch, nice make and shape, dark almond eye good reach of neck, enough bone but just overwhelmed by everything.

Looking very much a raw baby and really enjoying her day out. Very promising future moved well.
2nd: BROTHERTON/MCCLELLAND’S Cambrogan Caledonia Kiss for Alauna
7 months old Tri bitch head of correct proportions good length of back and plenty of bone.
3rd: TIPPER/TIPPER’S Tiganlea True Hearts Desire
PB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: BARTRAM/BARTRAM’S Ambartr Eternal Spirit
Sable/white. Nice wedge-shaped head, dark eye with a good length of neck into correct shoulders – nice length in the back and stood fore square. Moved well when she picked her head up from the floor with a nice length of stride front and rear.
2nd: GEDDES/GEDDES’ Ingledene Sno Angel
Another very nice bitch more compact than 1st and lost out on movement.

1st: HARRISON’S Cambrogan Lady of Loch'aber at Cariadhaf
15-month-old stood alone but was a worthy winner. Shorter and broader in her head with a defined stop, enough reach of neck well balanced throughout and very well presented.
PGB (16 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: STEVEN’S Cambrogan Blowin a Hoolie
Sable/White with a nice head, dark almond shaped eyes well set, good strong underjaw, arch neck, and fine length of back. Moved with ease around the ring.
2nd: CLARE/POINTON’S Aldreen Silver Trinket
2 year old blue merle. Very nice head strong neck good lay of shoulder and length of back moved well.
3rd: FOX/FOX, Alanita Whispered Gossip

1st: WELSH’S Thistlewing Harp String
3-year-old sable and white bitch. Nice head and expression with a dark eye correctly set. Strong neck nice top line moved ok
2nd: CLARE’S Ingledene Nitesky of Skyeshelm
5-year-old Tri coloured bitch similar to 1st but shorter coupled.
3rd: HOLLINSHEAD/HOLLINSHEAD’S Lanrue Diamonds in Blue at Starlyn

1st: BENTON’S Brooklynson Jane Russell of Oakestelle
6-year-old mature bitch and she was everything I was looking for. Lovely head, strong underjaw, dark eyes correct ears all giving the desired expression. Well arched neck on an excellent lay of shoulder. Good strong back keeping her correct top line and carrying her tail low to the hock. Put together she presented a well-balanced bitch who covered the ground with grace and purpose. Pleased to award her the CC and BOB
2nd: STEVEN’S Cariadhaf Cookies and Cream
Unfortunate to meet 1st she was a nice sound bitch with good qualities and moved well.
3rd: BLACKBURN/JONES’ Erjon Exclusively Special

Two very good examples of what a Rough Collie should be
1st: HARVEY/HARVEY’S Wicani Enraptured
81/2 year old sable bich. Beautiful head, enough stop, dark aqlmond eye obliquely set. Well arched neck onto good lay of shoulder, nice length of back and she stood four square. This bitch moved around the ring with purpose like a two year old. Pleased to award her the Res CC AND Best Veteran.
2nd: FLOWER’S, Serenlas Obsession
Another nice bitch much of the above applies just preferred No in head and expression.
3rd: HARRISON’S, Cariadhaf Candy Kisses
