I would like to the committee off Ayrshire Collie Club, inviting me to Judge the Special
Awards Classes.
Number off dogs was not great the dogs I went over were all off good quality. I would
like to thank the exhibitors who went under me also trusting me with there dogs.
Margaret Duncan Memorial. Special Awards Classes.

Special Junior - dog/bitch. 1st Mrs P Leslie. Kleopatra at Intermittent Lake ( import Slovenia) Still young and a bit raw but very well put together, good bone and substance.
Good front and rear angulation.correct shape eye and well placed ears given a lovely expression.Clean and good coat condition. Moved soundly and effortlessly.
2nd Mrs Mae Joan, Melvin Jopson. Lillyway Lemon Sparkle at Nithview. Other eye catcher also one to watch for in future. This one carried a very heavy coat that was well groomed. Good reach of neck. Length and depth of body. Good strength of head with correct eye expression. Moved soundly and effortlessly.

Special Graduate - Dog/ Bitch. 1st. Mrs D. Clark Kerr. Uffspring Uniquely Mayd. Good strength of head with correct eye and expression. Slight arch of neck fitting well into his shoulders. Length and angulations give lovely balance.
2nd. Brenda Welsh. Thistlewing Spell on you. Good strength of skull and muzzle. Well
placed ears and pleasing eye. Having enough size and substance. Looked good while
showing.

Special Open Dog/Bitch. 1st H& R Brown & Brown & Jopson.Jopson. Has correct stop.
Eyes very nicely shaped and obliquely placed combined with neat ears gives a most
kind Collie expression. Moves well coming and going. Very well coated well groomed.
2nd. Lynda Watt. Culbrae Red Again. Very clean head and nicely shaped and placed
eye giving a kind expression. Correct angulation which is enables the move with power
and purpose.
