ROUGH COLLIE BITCHES
JUDGE MRS J MARGETTS
Firstly thank you to LCC committee for inviting me to judge at our lovely Summer Show. I also have to thank the exhibitors for such a glorious entry of such outstanding bitches on the day. I was really spoilt for choice in most classes and my final decisions really were on type but also movement fore and aft. I felt my final winners had lovely breed type, confirmation, sweetness and good movement . Couple of things to watch are short necks, missing/dirty teeth. Movement on the whole was very good especially on the lovely new surface.

1st Wray Takhisis Lady Of Mystery
Almost 7 months old s/w puppy. Stands and shows herself of to advantage. Clean head, good moulding and well used ears, pleasing expression. Her make and shape is lovely and on the move she carries herself very well. lost out to a more mature puppy for BPIB
2nd Swain A Touch Of Blaze for Lexcol
Tri bitch who was rather raw and a little fine, saying that she has a decent reach of neck and a nice make and shape about her, she needs a good amount of time to mature and a bit more schooling.
Puppy Bitch 4 Entries
1st Lockyer Shining Star Du Clos de Seawind at Gataj (Imp Fra) NAF TAF
Pretty S/W standing presents a nice picture clean in head, would benefit from a bit more moulding to forface but that will come with maturity, sweet eye and expression . Ears on top and used very well , decent reach of neck, when asked to move she did so with confidence and in complete unison with her owner. I would prefer a little more bone . Very well handled BPB
2nd Walkers Starlenga Nina Simone Have seen this puppy on a few occasions and she really did appeal to me then and today. She has a lovely head and expression and can use her ears when she wants to, unfortunately she was rather unsettled today not wanting to concentrate, but on saying that has great appeal about her with lovely shape and make , moved out ok in great coat and condition and her colour is lovely. Hope she learns to settle to the job in hand . Well handled today

1st Turner Paulara Keep The Faith
Very nice type of bitch very appealing head and expression , with good moulding to foreface, nice lip line, sweet eye and expression, good stop and ears used all the time. Pleasing make and shape perhaps a little more length to body. On the move she steps out freely with good drive from behind with short hocks.
2nd Spendelow Rivrside Song Narayana At Uffspring (Imp Rom)
A nice type of blue bitch (colour could clear a bit more) have seen her as a real baby and lacking confidence in the ring, today she was full of confidence standing and showing so well, she has good shoulders, length of back and bend of stifle, enough neck, level topline and correct tail carriage. Head handles nicely with pleasing dark eye and expression, flat skull and well used ears, . Moved out straight fore and aft , very well schooled and handled.

Ultra Feminine bitch , Sweet eye and expression and used her ears to advantage, I feel she could benefit with a bit more moulding to foreface and more underjaw . Elegant shape with nice length of back , nice bone and neat feet. Moved out well with short hocks and low carried tail, would prefer a bit more of her .
2nd Spendelow Riverside Song Narayana At Uffspring (Imp Rom) 2nd in Junior class

1st Larkin Rahlissa Toffee Cake For Denora
Golden s/w who when standing presents a very nice picture, lovely bone and neat feet. Although not in full coat it did not detract and showed off her lovely outline. Head handles so well, nice moulding to foreface, clean cheeks, sweet well placed almond eye, giving a sweet expression, good decent reach of neck and length of back with good bend of stifle. Lovely make and shape about her with sound front and rear angulation which showed on the move striding out fore and aft with lovely short hocks and correct tail carriage. I was delighted to award her the RCC in very good company.
2nd Murray & Bellamy Starlenga She’s All That For Beloreen
Blue bitch of correct colour, well presented. Clean in head no flaring or deep through, flat skull, well placed stop with neat ears that she used all the time. Her confirmation and front and rear anglulation was very good and this allowed her to move out with confidence and a good stride with correct tail carriage . Nice bone and neat feet.

1st Scotts Chantiue Déjà vu
Very appealing s/w bitch. Lovely dark almond eye giving sweetest of expressions, good moulding to foreface and lip line and underjaw, good stop and ears bang on top. Standing she has a lovely outline although I would prefer a tad more neck but on saying that she is well balanced throughout. Lovely bone and neat feet, on the move she stepped out soundly nice forward reach and short hocks, stood and showed very well
2nd Walkers Starlenga All About Me
Elegant shape to this tri bitch, showing a lovely outline, reach of neck, good shoulders, length of back. She has abundance of bone and substance, is jet black and so well groomed and turned out. Found her head handled nicely, plenty of moulding, good stop and ear carriage, pleasing eye and expression, to be critical I just found her a little stronger in head than the winner but nevertheless a very nice bitch indeed. Moved out well with good strength behind from short hocks.

1st Browns Mertrisa Cool Love
Now one I have seen from the ring side so was pleased to be given the opportunity to go over her. Very feminine bitch with nicely moulded forface , good underjaw, correct stop and neat ears which she used to advantage, a sweet dark eye giving the desired expression so hard to find on a tri colour. Balanced overall with good angulation, decent neck and length of back , moved out soundly with good forward reach and drive from behind, has lovely bone and feet, correct tail carriage. In good coat and condition.
2nd Tippers Tiganlea Twinkling Star
A fabulous coloured blue bitch in great coat and condition. Head needs to be handled to appreciate fully, not a born showgirl but good moulding, clean stop and nice eye placement and expression , she was not playing the game today and refused to lift her ears, but when held up she does have the most lovely expression, I hope her owner can encourage her to use her ears much more. She has good angles front and rear and can move with strength behind from short hocks. Just preferred the overall expression and ear carriage of the winner.

My star of the day
1st Llewellyn Artzaiak Selina De Salsina (Imp Esp)
Well my notes say stunning and delightful. Just standing she demands attention and on going over her I was not disappointed. Her head is just so devine in expression, moulding, eye placement, lovely lip line and her ears bang on top the whole time. Great reach of neck into lovely shoulders, good length of back all giving a very balanced outline with nothing out of place. Just the right amount of bone and substance about her. On the move she just floated round the ring with good extension and short powerful hocks, low carried tail. Just what I had been looking for so pleased to award her the CC her third apparently went BOB and then BIS .
2nd McEntee Gerian Sunlite TAF
Very feminine bitch not quite in full coat but this did not detract only enhanced her lovely outline. Very pretty head, eye and expression, good ear carriage which she used well very attentive to handler. Decent reach of neck and length of body , nice shoulders and bend of stifle, enough bone and neat feet. One the move she was very fluent around the ring moving with purpose and drive. Well handled .
Open 5 Entries
1st Tippers Ch Tiganlea Too Good To Be True
Another that demands attention when standing but also going over her she does not disappoint. No exaggeration at all, clean well moulded forface, nice stop and flat skull topped with neat ears that she uses all the time. Well constructed for and aft with good front extension and neat hocks, she was today however tending to pull and lean away from her owner that it made it a little difficult to assess her movement when coming and going, but this takes nothing away from her being a quality Ch. In super coat and condition as always from this kennel.
2nd Walker/Ritchie Chantique Cinderella At Starlenga
Slightly smaller bitch with a huge well presented coat. Very feminine head, dark almond eye and a lovely sweet expression. To be critical I would prefer a little more of her , but saying that she is overall well balanced. Went well on the move .
Veteran 6 Entries (1 Absent)
Always love a veteran class and certainly some quality bitches still retaining their glamour and movement. 1st and 2nd slightly different types but with equal points to like about them , they are both so very sound a credit to their owners, loved both so a close decision .
1st Wray Beldones Duchess of Dreams JW
8yr old shaded s/w. Reminded me of one of my own veterans at home. In tremendous coat which was well presented. Head handles well, still retains that lovely moulding , good stop and ear carriage all giving a sweet/kind expression. Well off for bone and substance, a very good showgirl as were all from this kennel. Can still put it all together and moved out freely with with good front extension and drive from behind , lovely show girl . BVB
2nd Randall Ladnar Inkheart JW
7yr old lovely tri bitch turned out beautifully as always from this kennel, jet black coat with lovely huge white collar. Standing shows off her lovely shape and reach of neck into good shoulders and on going over her did not disappoint. Lovely bone and substance, neat feet. Clean in head, dark almond eye giving sweet expression and ears bang on top. On the move she also moves out freely with an easy stride and plenty of drive from behind one always to be appreciated.
