My grateful thanks to the very sporting exhibitors for giving me such a super entry and accepting my decisions in such a very gracious and supportive manner – it made for a most enjoyable appointment .Some general observations on my days judging- temperaments and mouth all good on every exhibit – type and substance varied – I felt some tending to be on the finer side and could be doing with a bit more substance . Eye shape and set a particular issue – many being too round and not set obliquely and so the desirable expression was lacking in many that aside only a couple of eyes too small . Upper arms in quite a few tending to be short and steep consequently front action suffering . Movement on the whole not too bad , tail lengths acceptable in most -carriage varied but most acceptable .Pleased to see my BOB being shortlisted in a very strong Pastoral group she put up a sterling performance – I was well chuffed 😊

Class 2304 PD (2 Entries) Abs: 0- Two litter brothers enjoying their time in the ring .
1st: 9123 VAN SANDE, Mrs J A Blamorder High and Mighty- the smaller of the two brothers I thought overall he was just that bit more composed on the move – not the biggest but still plenty of time to grow on – head of good pattern , pleasing in eye, ears needing to settle , moderate neck, front angles ok , body proportions good , moderate hind angle , good tail length , movement sound when he eventually decided to settle , promising youngster with excellent temperament
2nd: 9121 SEAGER, Mrs E Blamorder Scale Force- litter brother to above and in fact I preferred his size being slightly taller in height , much the same applies to this one , overall balanced , again his ears are needing to settled and not as good in eye as his brother , movement a tad erratic but did show soundness and drive at times , lovely temperament
