Rough Collies

I had a lovely entry and I am greatly appreciative to all those exhibitors who gave me the opportunity to judge their Rough Collies

Class 1 – Puppy  1 (1)

Class 2 – Junior  3

  1.  MEJOLA MAIN EVENT – Mrs J White

A very feminine sable and white bitch, head is a good wedge shape and she has well placed dark eyes giving a soft expression enhanced by neat ears which she uses constantly.  I found her to be balanced in angulation front and rear and on the move she held a good top line a very promising youngster.

  1. TAKHISIS LYSANDER – Mrs M L Chaplin
    Another who has promise this young sable dog just needs time to mature, his head is of lovely shape and he has well placed ears, correct stop and a well filled foreface, giving him a masculine expression.   He has good bone and substance and moved freely.

Class 3 – Post Graduate  3

  1. DEMELEWIS DOUBLE TAKE – Miss M Mellish

Tricolour who is unmistakably femine she has a clean head, nicely shaped and placed eye giving a sweet kind expression, ears were well used, she has a lovely reach of neck leading into good shoulders.  On the move she held a super topline, with good reach and drive, having correct tail carriage.  RBOB

Class 4 – Open  5

  1. AQUALITA IT’S A MIRACLE  – Mr D,  Mrs H & Miss I ALLSOPP

A Tri dog of size but with his outline showing overall balance. Masculine wedge shaped head with nice well-rounded foreface, nicely shaped and placed eyes, and good ear placement giving pleasing expression.   Good neck, leading to well laid shoulders with strong body of good length.  Moved well with reach and drive, firm top line and good tail carriage.  BOB   

  1. CAMANA CHASINGCLOUDS OVER MEJOLA – Mrs J White
    Blue Merle dog of good colour and substance.  He has gentle masculine expression good reach of neck flowing into a well constructed and angulated front and rear.  Moved well with a good stride.

 

  1. BARRENCLOUGH HEART OF GOLD – Dr L W Boyle
  1. SAMHAVEN TIME IS MONEY WITH NIKAL – Miss S Skinner
