I would like to thank the committee of Driffield championship Show for inviting me to judge at their championship show also to my 2 stewards.  I was made welcome by all at this friendly show.  My complements to the exhibitors I found well-presented quality entry   it was a pleasure and privilege to judge them.   

Class 1865 VD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3727 CONGDON, Mr J CH/FR CH JUGBAND BLUES DU CLOS DE SEA-WIND VIA Aaranwell.  9 years young blue male a worthy champion of lovely colour and coat texture well-proportioned  masculine head attentive alert expression used his ears to advantage  good depth and width  of chest firm topline nicely angulated fore and aft excellent croup strong mover.

Class 1866 PD (6 Entries) Abs: 1  A nice class of promising puppies all could change places another time first 3 particularly.
1st: 3742 HASSOCK, Mrs A Camanna Cellmate  Well grown S/W 8 mth old masculine   head developing along correct lines well set eye and ears good neck clean on withers balanced angles sound and strong mover.
2nd: 3747 HODGES, Miss J JOPIUM LOVE ON THE ROCKS  10 mth Tri super dark eye giving pleasing expression clean head of balanced proportions neat ears good depth of brisket firm topline nicely muscled croup tight feet lovely condition moved freely.
3rd: 3743 HAWKINS, Mrs Susan Lynda Brilyn Worth the Wait  9 ½ mth S/W  with masculine head alert attentive expression neat ears set well balanced shape and size just right for bone and substance moved soundly.

1st: 3742 HASSOCK, Mrs A Camanna Cellmate  REPEAT
2nd: 3725 COLLINS, Mr & Mrs Noel & Christine Triburle Bluebolero  Blue of lovely colour shape and size good head pattern, eye and   ear set super neck and front quarters moved well just unsettled today.

Class 1868 YD (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 3737 FRANCIS, Mr J G Monsolana Franz Von Assisi Mit Peblu (Imp Rus) S/W not a big lad   used  his lovely neck to show off his balanced shape well -made for quarters  masculine head well filled foreface and back skull alert expression good bone and feet in firm  condition moved so easy and smoothly in lovely coat.

Class 1870 PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 3784 WATERHOUSE, Mrs Carolyn Lynmead Famous Lover  S/W elegant male of instant appeal stood and showed off his excellent shape and outline clean balanced head  filled back skull well set eyes and ears combined to give desired expression  excellent shoulders   angulated front and rear quarters firm topline kept on the move good flow over the croup just right for bone tight feet strong pasterns  moved soundly excellent front action  lovely presentation Rcc
2nd: 3716 BLAIKIE, Mr R Kourika You   Tri   Masculine head tad stronger than winner   but still in proportion defined stop good neck depth and spring of rib moved with drive little loose at front.

Class 1871 LD (7 Entries) Abs: 3
1st: 3771 SCOTT, Mr Andre & SCOTT, MRS CHANTAL SHERLOCK HOLMES OF MOON RIVER FOR CHANTIQUE (Imp) Tri   Balanced head defined stop super expression neat ear carriage best mover in this class with excellent hind action from well-turned stifle smooth front and profile action in full coat which occasionally hide his lovely  shape  good topline and croup.
2nd: 3783 WALKER, Mr Garry & WALKER, Mrs Margo & RITCHIE, Mr Starlenga All That Jazz From Aaronwell  Slightly bigger all round but still balanced  and good shape very masculine head  natural ears not over done  lovely neck  topline turn  of stifle moved well.
3rd: 3762 PROCTOR, Mrs Catherine Wilmaranna Out Of The Blue For Cathbri

Class 1872 OD (9 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 3740 GRAINGER, Miss A Ch SAMHAVEN BALLAHANNA BANJO  Handsome lad  a true showman      5 yr old mature male excellent  height to length ratio   in full coat of correct texture clean  masculine  head pattern  well filled foreface  back skull and good underjaw just right for stop eye and ear set  altogether giving a truly balanced head excellent neck and front assembly good depth of brisket and rib cage firm topline and sweep  over the croup correct  tail set moved purposely around the ring with drive smooth profile  and strong  front  action as always from this kennel   1st class  condition and presentation . 2nd: 3778 TIPPER, Mr J & TIPPER, Mrs C J Tiganlea True Hero  S/W Another male of excellent proportions throughout slightly longer in head but in balance with his body shape correct stop attentive masculine expression used his well set ears to advantage  firm topline kept on the move  in good coat nice texture well - presented moved soundly covered the ground easily.
3rd: 3717 BLAKE, Miss M J Corydon Pol Roger  Blue male with balanced head pleasant eye expression   not a big lad and not in full coat so nothing hidden which showed off his excellent confirmation  as expected strong and sound mover.

Class 1873 GCD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 3762 PROCTOR, Mrs Catherine Wilmaranna Out Of The Blue For Cathbri  Blue male of good shape and size lovely character classic head dark eyes  good neck and clean withers well angulated front and rear moved freely he has achieved Gold GC well done.

Class 1874 VB (2 Entries) Abs: 0   2 lovely veteran bitches
1st: 3746 HODGES, Miss J Ch JOPIUM LOVE HEART JW SHCM  S/W 8yrs young  Attractive S/W lovely shape and size feminine head with good underjaw  pleasing expression balanced fore and   rear quarters good chest and depth of brisket kept topline standing and on the  move which she did with drive easy side and good front action groomed to perfection was in contention for top honours. 2nd: 3719 BROOKER, Mrs, Miss & Miss P M, E J & J L Telforth Sweet Dreams to Corisian JW  10 yrs young S/W Another pretty appealing bitch sweet head almond eye giving sweetest of expression neat ears in lovely condition. moved soundly.


Class 1875 PB (9 Entries) Abs: 1  Lovely class of promising  puppies
1st: 3744 HAWKINS, Mrs Susan Lynda Brilyn Shows The Difference 9 ½ mth  S/W Love her  shape and size  feminine head balanced proportions just right for stop sweet expression used her ears and neck to show off her outline silhouette nicely angulated front and rear well laid shoulders kept her topline in lovely coat of good texture moved out soundly natural showgirl. BP.
2nd: 3763 PROCTOR, Mrs Catherine Didek Moonshine 7 ½ mth   Tri jet black coat  sweet ultra feminine head handle well  dark eye lovely  expression used her ears well   she has good angulations stood and showed her socks off excellent shape moved freely.
3rd: 3726 COLLINS, Mr & Mrs Noel & Christine Triburle Leading Lady S/W just 7 mths  her feminine balanced head is well developed for age good eye expression neck and shape a golden sable in lovely order moved true and sound.

Class 1876 JB (4 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: 3782 WALKER, Mr Garry & WALKER, Mrs Margo & RITCHIE, Mr Chantique Tooth Fairy for Starlenga  Very feminine all round would like little more of her she has a nice body shape topline and flow over croup  moved well.
2nd: 3787 WHITAKER, Mrs G SILUTO SILVARY BLUE MOON  Attractive blue head needs to clean out dark eye giving nice expression natural ear carriage  lovely neck and body shape good angulations front and rear  moved out freely.


Class 1877 YB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 3751 LLEWELLYN, Mr and Mrs C and J Avonfair Secret Love Letter to Salsina  Pretty S/W  She stole my heart love her make and shape excellent body ratio feminine head of lovely proportions well  filled foreface and back skull good underjaw combination of well-placed stop eye shape and placement natural ears altogether giving desired melting expression arched neck just right for length clean withers onto well placed shoulders good rib cage  muscled loin and croup balanced fore and aft angles flexible pasterns tight feet  giving excellent front action smooth profile and drive from rear. A pleasure to award her  the CC.   Just lost out to the mature male for BOB
2nd: 3768 ROSE, Miss E Beldones Clementine avec Coloratura S/W Wedge head tad strong for me nice expression good  depth of brisket  moved ok

1st: 3711 ABLETT, Mrs Kim Siluto Misteriously  Puppy of 9 mths Blue  Lovely colour classic head of good proportions dark eyes well set ears good shape and size positive mover covered the ring easily. BSp B
2nd: 3786 WHITAKER, Mrs G SILUTO MISTERIOUS GIRL This is the mum to the winner Clean wedge head with super dark eye giving lovely expression good foreface nice neck  shape and size lovely legs and feet moved well.
3rd: 3767 ROSE, Miss E Uffspring Ultravox for Coloratura

Class 1879 PGB (8 Entries) Abs: 2 Good class
1st: 3773 SCOTT, Mr Andre & SCOTT, MRS CHANTAL Chantique Ooh La La   S/W of lovely shape size super expression pretty feminine head  balanced angulations good neck brisket and  rib cage firm topline and nice turn of stifle she was the strongest on the move.
2nd: 3730 EDWARDS, Mrs Julie Ann & BLUCK, Miss Eleri Paulara Lucy In The Sky For Elshajo  Pretty Tri not in full coat  but has  lovely head  eye and ears nice brisket excellent length  depth of rib and flow over the croup  nicely angulated all round moved well just needs to firm up in rear overall a quality bitch
3rd: 3777 TIPPER, Mr J & TIPPER, Mrs C J Revdvicki Ruby Tuesday At Tiganlea  S/W in good  coat and condition wedge head balanced proportions when she lifted her ears made a  lovely picture well balanced body moved soundly.

Class 1880 LB (11 Entries) Abs: 5 strong class
1st: 3785 WATERHOUSE, Mrs Carolyn Collingvale Chin Chin Lynmead  Tri instantly appealed  in full jet black coat like her over all shape and size feminine  wedge head of good length  well placed stop dark almond  eye  lovely sweet expression arched neck onto well laid shoulders good topline  croup and tail set nice   turn of stifle good legs and feet moved easily around the ring.
2nd: 3728 CONGDON, Mr J Riverside Song Instant Karma for Aaronwell (IMP R) Beautiful blue of excellent shape and size clean wedge head dark eyes giving pleasing expression nice  reach if neck good brisket and    front quarters firm topline and loin good turn of stifle  moved soundly lovely presentation.
3rd: 3721 BROWN, Mrs V A Mertrisa Cool Love  Tri  Another quality bitch not in full coat today has a lovely head piece super dark eye ears well placed lovely shape good chest rib and loin nicely muscled throughout balanced angulations just right for bone and substance moved soundly.

2nd: 3745 HODGES, Miss J JOPIUM LOVE'S TO SPARKLE WITH MERYCTIN S/W  A real show girl clean balanced feminine head with good  pigmentation eye shape  and expression   nice reach of neck depth of brisket firm topline kept on the move well filed rib cage flow over the croup in lovely order moved soundly and freely.
3rd: 3736 FOY/HAWKINS, MRS/Mr Odile/Brian BELDONES TOUCH OF CLASS  S/W super shape and size feminine head balanced proportions just right for stop  good eye and ear set giving sweet expression moved soundly.
