15th September 2023

Richmond was held at Loseley Park with Pastoral and Working scheduled for the last day of 4, on Sunday and I think the weather still held and was warm and sunny
Stephen Clark who has the Derbypark affix was centre stage, having last judged the breed at London & Provincial in 2021 over the ladies, and prior to that at WECS in 2018 where he judged males.
Dogs only had 2 absent and taking Veteran was the well-known Ch Takhis Dream Weaver for Sophie Wray=Ramsden. Charlene Turner was the only puppy present in MP and won this with her Paulara Pitch Black. Puppy had Jo Hodges and Jopium Love on the Rocks winning. Christine Collins won Junior with Triburle Bluebolero and Catherine Cooper won Yearling with up entrant and she won with her Kelekona Hearts of Gold. Caz Waterhouse took Graduate with Lynmead Famous Lover. Tracy Brightmore owns Millubie Razzmatazz, and I assume handled by Debbie.  Chantal and Andre won Limit with Sherlock Holmes of Moon River for Chantique and Alison Grainger had a lovely start to her show day by winning not only Open but Ch Samhaven Ballahanna Banjo’s 15th CC.  Although he was 2nd in Open dog, another Ch, Brooklynson El Dorado, owned and handled by Marianne Benton was called in for the RDCC but lost out to the Graduate winner, Lynmead Famous Lover who now has quite a few of the smaller green cards to add to his collection. BPD went to Jo Hodges and her tricolour.eartsHearts
Now to the ladies and we have new names to include in our list of winners as , I think  a 1st CC having won RCC before today, was Val Tame and her Riverside Song Xtra Sweet at Rahlissa (Imp Rom), She is bred by Olivia Cruscov by Jealous Guy du Clos De Sea-Wind out of Riverside Song Julia born in January 2018 she is a sable and white
I think, and stand to be corrected, that she has been shown regularly abroad, Charlene piloted her blue merle,Delfluvia Blue Raine for Paulara to win not just yearling but also her first RCC. Born in Feb 2022, she is sired by her own Ch Paulara No Where Man out of Delfluvia Skyler White, Her breeder is listed as Josep Cabaro who has his kennel along with Cristina near Girona in Spain.
Other class winners included: Jane Margetts with Collingvale Chardonnay who won Veteran;  Noel and Christine Collins won MP with Triburle Leading Lady; Roughrigg Red Lagertha for Jim & Morag McCarte, handled by Hannah, won PB; Junior went to Lucy Primmer and her Riverside Song Paloma Nera at Colcanis; Although she had been 2nd in MP, Sheila Carlton won Novice with her Lynmead Royal Beauty of Sambreeze.  Starlenga She’s All That for Beloreen won Graduate for Vicky Murray and Doreen Bellamy; Chantal & Andre won PG with Chantique Ooh La La and Open went to Robin Blaikie and Ch Kourika Kover Girl and finally Hannah Lyall who had been placed in previous classes won Spl Beginners with Santaloly’s Sky Amidalas.

Best of Breed went to Alison, and great news, in the Pastoral Group under Marion Hodgson (Ddalrus) she gained a very respective G4 – to add to a rather good day for Alison as she is also joint owner of the Wkg Group 3 St Bernard, What a lovely day for her.
Other results were BPIB to Jo Hodges, beating the BPB, Roughrigg Red Lagertha. Jane Margetts took BVIB and I understand she stayed but to no avail and Hannah won Best Spl Beginners.
