Darlington at Ripon Racecourse saw some celebrations for many, and to elaborate, firstly to the newly crowned Ch Phreelancer Phaith Hill, owned and bred by Lene Newman as she is the dam of both CC winners!
Steve Hall (Shendene) was the judge, Steve last judged at WKC, in 2016 and had drawn an entry of 74. Of that 11 are marked absent by Higham Press.
Taking a 2nd CC, from Open was the well-known duo of Ice and Eleri, i.e. Phreelancer Chill Phactor for Elshajo. For those who may not know, he is a blue merle, bred by Lene Newman and sired by Int Ch One Extraordinary Blu di Cambiano out of the now Ch Phreelancer Phaith Hill and was born in January 2019 and there was an original entry of 9.
Taking the RDCC was the winner of PG, and adding another small green card to his collection, Thistlewing Smokey Quarts and Brenda Welsh. Sired by Karafaye Scotch Blend at Thistlewing out of Thistlewing Spell On You and he was born in June 2021.
BPD was contested between John Blake and Corydon Christopher, who won MP and Anne Hassock with Camanna Cellmate who won Puppy with the nod going to John.
Other class winners were: Veteran, Stacy Steven and Brodie, Cariadhaf Crazy Dream. Blamorder Gold Plated the only entrant in Junior won this for Abby Lusty and Mr & Mrs Holmes and Jan Milligan and Nigel Marley took another Limit class with Alfsden He Lives In You.  
Veteran bitch saw the return of Tinks, Ch Tiganlea Tinkerbelle at Revdvicki, handled by her co-breeder, John Tipper and owned by Rev Vikki Burrows and is now a sprightly 10 years young last June.
MP had Skabona If I saw you in Heaven for Chelborn and Vanessa winning. Gill Whittaker won PB, with the only entrant, Siluto Silvary Blue Moon. Two sisters stood 1st and 2nd in Junior with Serenlas Chloe for Karla Flower winning over Serenlas Angel of Casatentola. Paul Ross and his Most Majestic Timeless Touch at Samshernik won PG. Lene and her Phreelancer Phormal Dress won Limit whilst Vanessa Cronk took Open with Chelborn Gambler’s Wish
The CC, her first went to Lene and her Phreelancer Phormal Dress, sired by Corydon The Ringmaster out of Ch P. Phaith Hill and the RBCC to the winner of PG, Paul Ross and Most Majestic Timeless Touch at Samshernik but moved by Paige. She is sired by Scottlyme Midas Touch out of Most Majestic Between the Sheets and was born in July 2021 in Hungary and bred by Krista Kallay.
BPB went to Skabona If I saw you in Heaven for Chelborn, who won MPB
In the challenge for BOB, Lene went forward to the group, under Keith Nathan Vanessa took BPIB the4 group was Liz Cartledge but I could not see her on the video whilst John & Tinks did stay under Paul Harding but did not feature

Now to Northumberland & Durham, who had their Ch show following the completion of judging at Darlington. They too received a good entry for the two relatively new judges elected.
These were Louise Walker, (Starlenga) on her 2nd appointment, following bitches at WECS earlier this year and Josh Blackburn (Erjon) who judged both sexes at Richmond in 2021 for his debut, followed by dogs at Scottish Collie earlier this year.
Louise had 24 males but with a few missing on the day. Her dog challenge had the following in contention: Camanna Cellmate, who won MP, Puppy and Novice; Chelborn’s Gambling List stood alone in Yearling as did Monsolana Aspire to Inspire over Barrenclough who won Graduate.  PG went to Jopium Front Runner, Corisian Parisian Magic won a Limit class of 8 and there was just 1 in Open Dog, this was Chelborn That’ll Do. Barrenclough Diamonds Days JW took 1st in a Veteran class of 3.
Dog CC went to Corisian Parisian Magic, his 2nd, having taken his first at Midland earlier this year from Uwe Nolke. To refresh your memories, he is sired by Ch Magical Moon of Lowlands Green Valley for Chantique out of Ch Paris Venise du Bois des Amazones for Corisian and was born in April 2021. Owned by Jo, Pat and Emma Brooker and shown by Jo.
A delighted Anne Hassock was awarded the RDCC with Camanna Cellmate who is a son of Ch Paulara No Where Man out of Camanna Paulara Cissy Spacek and he was also BPD.
Josh Blackburn judged the ladies and his line up consisted of: Skabona If I saw You In Heaven for Chelborn and Vanessa Cronk who took MP; Gill Whittaker was again alone in Puppy with Siluto Silvary Blue Moon and also won Novice; Junior bitch was a repeat of the 2 sisters at Darlington; Chelborn Gambler’s Wish won Yearling for Vanessa; Paul Ross repeated his PG class win of Darlington but here he was in Graduate. In PG, Phreelancer Phormal Dress won with Lene; Thistlewing Celtic Soul for Karafaye and Lorraine Quince won Limit and Open went to Corydon Clarissa for John Blake. Veteran was another nice win for John and Ch Tinkerbelle.
BCC, her second went to Corydon Clarissa, her first was won recently at L&P from Steve Barrett. She is a sable bred by Miranda, born in May 2020, sired by Corydon The Ringmaster out of Corydon Moonflower and owned by John Blake. RBCC was Lene and her CC winning bitch from the morning’s Darlington show, whilst Vanessa repeated her BPIB to BPIS later in the day.
BIS was the sable bitch, Claire, Reserve BIS to the RCC winning bitch which left the dog, Remy,  BOSIS. BVIS to John and Ch Tinkerbelle

Interesting to note, at Darlington, both CC winners were out of the same dam, now Ch Phreelancer Phaith Hill, 2 sisters also were placed 1st and 2nd at both shows, Corydon The Ringmaster, sired the BCC winner at N&D and also the RBCC & CC winner in Phreelancer Phormal Dress and Ch Tiganlea Tinkerbelle and Skabona If I saw You In Heaven both won Best Veteran  and Best Puppy respectively, so well done to all concerned.
